We have some exciting things to introduce to you this month in Davis Life Magazine! First of all, two columnists have joined our staff.

G.J. Caulkins is a Davis resident, UC Davis alumnus and a former member of the Cal Aggie Marching Band-Uh! He’s now married with two young children and each month will share his amusing stories about his life in suburbia. His first column, titled “Locked Out… Naked… In the Afternoon,” appears in this issue.

Laura Cole-Rowe, who is best known by Davisites as the past executive director of the Davis Downtown Business Association, is our events columnist. This month, Laura’s column includes all of the fun Davis events happening in October - one of my favorite months of the year due to the cooling weather and the promise of the holidays ahead.
