Sometimes it’s forgotten that not all artists are painters or sculptors. While some artists may express themselves through melodies or metaphors, some do so through the use of movement.
Pamela Trokanski, owner of the Pamela Trokanski Dance Workshop, is an artist, a teacher and an inspiration. Through dance, Pamela has not only found a therapeutic outlet for herself, but has impacted many youth and adults with not just their journeys with dance, but also with life.
Pamela is not the average businesswoman. She wears a leotard and tights, puts her hair in a bun or a high ponytail, and thinks of pirouettes and tondus - not just payroll. Pam, in the dance world, is known for her diversity of styles, her physical education classes offered at Davis Senior High School, and her quirky friendliness that quickly welcomes anyone, stranger or friend.
